I recently purchased a d8b and a HDR for my home studio. I know I will have millions of questiosn for you all.
Please bare with me as I go through setting it up..

Welcome John, there is a lot of info. already here. The database has all sorts of helpful info. Enjoy your visit, we are a friendly bunch on most days so ask away if you can't find what you are looking for.
