Plugins drop out

Postby Casey_Pittman » Fri May 25, 2012 7:10 am

Using a friends d8b and having an issue in 5.1 where plugins drop their input source. Should i just reinstall the fx package? Anyone else have this problem? This board was recently upgraded to 5.1 and has 2MFX boards and 2UFX boards. I looked in the database but nothing on this issue.

I think thats all the important stuff.

Thanks,
-Casey

The plugs dropping their inputs is a sign that they aren't authorized and are running in demo mode which can be anywhere up to 7 minutes. If the owner has the authorization codes then they may need to be re-entered. That being said, the codes for the plugs when using OS 5.1 are different from OS 3 and will need to be acquired from Mackie if they are legitimately licensed to the board. There is no charge for the ones that are owned.

Thanks Peter that must be the problem. New codes weren't given after the upgrade, so that makes sense.

Thanks,
