could this be the ribbon cables

Hi folfs

its been a while since I had any problems
and it just started doing this. it will boot up and run fine for
about 30 minuts. what every is playing at the time then it will stop
and three or four channals will show green where the metters on the channal stoped
and then no sound. I can reboot and it will run about the same time before it doe's it again.
thanks for any help. Im thinking it could be the ribbon cable for the 20th time.

Quite possible Joe, it's a bit of a pain but worth trying a re-seat.

like you said its a pain but its worth trying for the 20th or more times.
I can't remember where I saw someone saying there was a adhesive you could
put on the ribbon cables to help keep them in place. would anyone here know the name
of that and where you can buy it. Im ready to try something cause this ribbon thing
is happing to many times. Im going to change battery why Im in there.

I got her fixed I gave her some tylenol extra strength
and I rub some ben gay on her back. she's up and running again
she is a pain sometimes but I still love her.
