WTB Video Card

Postby Casey_Pittman » Tue Nov 06, 2012 5:20 pm

Does anyone have a spare video card they would want to sell? I'm doing the MDR->HDR upgrade for a friend and having a hell of a time finding the PCI version. If I remember right both the d8b and HDR use the same card.

Thanks,

You still have at least one card, right? What is the identifier for it? Shouldn't be impossible to locate a source on the internet if you have that info.

No video cards other than what is in my d8b. No identifier numbers to go off of. That would be extremely helpful though if someone with a working PCI video card knew the exact make and model and such.

But I'll open a thread in the HDR section for a PCI video card witch hunt. Was just wondering if anyone had one from the d8b willing to part with.

Casey, Mike Rivers knows what card it is. It may be in his book if you have it. Otherwise you could send him a PM or search the demolition site over at the other place. I think there were a few that would work.

Cheers,

Peter

Thanks Peter,

I'll try and contact Mike and check the other place. Unfortunately I don't have his book.
