@ Crash,
didn´t know you lived over here some time. What area ? Stuttgart ?

I spoke to Maik, and he has some points to work on now.
As I´m not the most systematic guy it took us some time to find out a bit.
Could be a bad installation of 5.1.
Might as well be the BFC, or the ribbon cables, although Maik reseated all of them already.
Next point might be the railcaps.

Since the op system loads with no failure, I don´t expect any failure with the mainboard.
Just to keep you informed.

Mikel,
will give you a call tomorrow.
Only if you have a questionmark flashing on the LDC Display, you will need a new clockcard.
Take a look behind the blind plates in the card cage.
There must be something like the card you´re looking for.

Hey Manfred, I was there from 1978-1981 in the Landstuhl/Ramstein area. My dad was in the Air Force and we were stationed there during my junior high school days. I loved it there.

Hi Crash,

yes, it´s a nice site and I´m happy you liked it.
I was asking because the headquarter is in Stuttgart, is it not ?
I´m around Stuttgart, anyhow.

USAFE headquarters is at Ramstein Air Base. It is not to far from Kaiserslautern.

Those who can read certainly have the edge over those who don´t ..
You were talking about the Air Force and you´re right, USAFE is at Ramstein.
I was talking about USEUCOM oder EUCOM, which is located at Patch Barracks in Stuttgart-Vaihingen.

In the seventies I was in a coverband, playing the local army clubs.
So, never been in service myself, I feel associated with the army a bit.
