Yes, it has the apogee clock card., however, i do have a "?" flashing all the time... what does this mean? Clock card dead?

Go to "Setup" under the Windows menu, select sub menu "Digital I/O" locate "Apogee Clock" and set it to "internal". Problem solved. Also, make sure you choose the sample rate you wish to work at, 44.1KHz or 48KHz.

You're a man of few words which makes it difficult to help.

With the desk off, remove the Apogee clock card and clean the edge connector tracks with an eraser. Rub with an isopropyl alcohol wipe until it's immaculately clean and then reseat.

the guy i bought the board from used an external clock. it was set to word clock. Setting it to internal was the answer. im embarrassed at my stupidity.

And yes. i like few words... let the music speak for itself.

That's good. I'd run out of popcorn and beer.

It also means that you didn't delete all the startup sessions or turn "Load last session at power up" off.

If I had some chalk, I'd break a piece off and throw it at you just like my old Math teacher used to do.
