If d8bridge was done...a new OS can be done as well
Well we hope for the best...

The present authorization scheme for the V5 software was redesigned at the Acuma engineering wing (Canada) of Mackie. This was well after Bob left Mackie to start Sanewave.
I've explained earlier that I spoke with the engineer (who is also long gone from Mackie) who wrote the new encryption system, about this issue. He can't help, He no longer has access to the software. But he thought contacting one of the remaining engineers might garner some info. So I did.
I posted his response . Apparently he worked out a solution that Woodinville has chosen to drag their feet on....or ignore. He was not very optimistic.
I hate to be wet blanket about this....but the only thing that may generate some progress is to continuously barrage Mackie with a letter writing campaign.
