Strange error

I am running audio into channel one off and on. After about 20 minutes my audio makes a pop and then cuts off. The fader light is stuck about half way and I can not get any audio in or out of the system. When I restart my display and fader nobs go back to normal but there is sometimes audio and sometimes not. There is no error or anything on my display.

Any ideas?

Check under maintenance in the Database, go all the way to the bottom of the page for the section on loss of audio/frozen meters.
