Audio suddenly quits!

While working my sound suddenly quit. no sound in or out. Meter bridge is frozen where it quit. The D8b is otherwise responsive. I can reboot and it works for between 20 seconds and 3 minutes then audio quits again. Thank you for your help. Mahalo, as we say in Hawaii. I've been up and running without problems for 3 days after cleaning the suspect connectors. I tried cleaning others but the multi pin connectors were very stubborn and I didn't want to pull too hard. Is there some sort of tab release or special tool to release some of them?
